Reinstating Walkway on Water Tank

Problem

The tank top had become slippery underfoot due to algae and moss, and the existing walkway coating was breaking down.

Solution

• Jet wash to remove all growth and debris
• Walkway was reinforced using Belzona products
• Aggregate added on final coat to provide an anti-slip coating.
  

Summary

• This work was all completed on schedule and on budget.
• The integrity of the roof has been reinstated and has greatly improved operators’ safety.
